Tom,
Go to Druid.wikispaces.com. Its a new wiki site that has multiple guides on druids. There is at least 3 gear guides for druids. I would suggest checking it out.

* Each point of Strength is worth 2 points of attack power. 14 points of attack power result in 1 additional DPS.
    * Each point of Agility increases armor by 2, dodge and critical hit by 0.05% (at level 60). Also increases Attack Power in cat form by +1 per point of Agility.
    * Each point of Stamina is worth 10 health, 12.5 in Dire Bear form.
    * Each point of Intellect gives 15 mana and increases your chance for a critical spell 0.0173% (every 57.5 int = +1% critical chance).
    * Each point of Spirit increases your health and mana regeneration. 5 points of Spirit gives 1 mana per tick (2 seconds) in regeneration.

I got a question about the damage you where talking about in cat form. I thought too my knowledge in cat/ bear form dam is only done by stats not weapon dps. This is a question ( Isn't a weapon with 45str 30 agi with 10dam is better that a weapon with 100dam with only 10sr and 10 agi??)

Also on a side note i would love for your help.. My cousin as a rog found this nice site for armor (rog dps wise/ our cat) http://www.shadowpanther.net/ but my biggest question they more agi based and we are more str based due to we get more ap from str and a bonus with tallent points also. Do your or anyone know of a armor rating site like this that is for druids not rogs??

Great site check it all the time.

Just some comments from a Tank Druid.

With the Armor and Health change from the latest patch, as a tank druid your focus needs to be more on avoidance then mitigation. Personnaly I've found that after 20k AC, each additional 1k of armor doesn't buy you all that much when compared to each %1 dodge. This is roughly where Avoidance starts to become more important. The ability to dodge damage completely comes in handy.

Defense is equally important until you reach a Crit Immune. Crit Immune for a druid is a defense number of 415 or +156 Defense rating. I suggest reading up on it on various sites out there. Basically at that point a Lv 73 Mob ( Boss ) will be unable to Crit you.

Otherwise great post!

Tanuviel - thank you for the kind words and the feedback. It's nice to know that someone is not only reading but appreciates the work. I'll update the post to include your comments - attack power is a great catch.

Rebecca - you go girl! You know my philosophy on the game - HAVE FUN. If you've got a friend to quest with all the better.

Amanna,

Hey there. I haven't been playing much because I have been quite busy, but I have made yet another decision. I have a very good friend on the server my Paladin is on, which is why I moved to that server, and he is quickly over leveling me. I am still level 40, while he is 47, and I don't want that to happen. Though I long to play on my Druid, I think I will stay with my Pally until I reach atleast 50 or 55.

What I will do though is play on my Druid on the weekends when I have more time, and hopefully I will get some leveling done then.

So that is a short update for now, just letting you know what I am doing. I will check back here soon to let you know how my leveling is going and things like that.

Oh, and btw, grats on 66!! Two more levels until Flight Form :)

Great post, very well written. For cat attributes I will add Attack Power, which is of course a by product of strenght first and agility second. But in TBC there are a lot items with raw attack power numbers. Also you might want to also analyze the role of resiliance and + hit bonuses. Finally it will be useful - maybe in another post - to evaluate the role of enchants and socket and which one will benefit more the 2 feral forms. Keep up the good work. Your blob is becoming one of my daily reading. :)
