Yes, another post mentioning that darned list.  I’m just trying to help.  Really.

It looks like the hits and clickthroughs indicate that you have and that you’re all checking things out.  I’ve had one comment from someone who says a druid in his guild swears by the list and is a great tank.

I really need to put together the cat list and I promise I’ll start on that at lunch today.  But I’ve already made some progress on the Bear list.

Last night I finished the third of the three “Cipher of Damnation” quest line legs.  Cipher one and two are pretty easy, and in the quest rewards for cipher one, while it didn’t make our must have list, there is a neck item that ranks pretty well on the list: Grom’tor’s Pendant of Conquest.  This should do until I get into Sethekk Halls to get our target piece.

The third cipher is a much longer chain that the other two, and the final quest does require a group.  The comments for The Cipher of Damnation – Borak’s Charge indicate that Ruul, a 71 Elite, is do-able with 3 people.  The quest itself recommends a group of 3.  Do yourself a favor – bring a group.  The more the merrier.  I got guild support for this quest and initially I had 2 level 70 warriors pounding on Ruul with me healing.  We had two very quick wipes.  This guy hits hard and often.  We called in the calvary, got a full group, and he went down no problem. 

Third cipher recovered, I turned in for Umberhowl’s Collar – the only piece of gear on our list that was the highest ranking for it’s slot. 

Equipping Umberhowl (and buffed with Gift of the Wild), I’m now at 4043 armor in human form, 16425 in bear.  It’s been a good couple nights.
